“All persons are puzzles until at last we find in some word or act the key to the man, to the woman; straightway all their past words and actions lie in light before us.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

about me

The therapy world can feel a little rarefied and mysterious sometimes, though it needn’t be.  I like to think that a previous career outside the profession helps keep my feet on the ground and in touch with the world outside psychotherapy where problems are not just theoretical but real and painful.

As well as working in private practice, I am also a psychotherapeutic counsellor with the organisation Time To Talk which provides counselling for people in West Berkshire where we help people suffering from a variety of distress due to:

- Depression
- Anxiety
- Relationship breakdown
- Decision making
- Issues of self worth
- Self harm
- Eating disorders
